Congress will emerge as largest party in DDC elections: Satish

JAMMU, Dec 14: Former Chairman of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and senior Congress leader, Satish Sharma has claimed that Congress will emerge as the largest party in the ongoing DDC elections results of which will be declared on December 22.
He also said, in the elections held so far, Congress has overtaken all the parties.
Addressing a public meeting during campaigning for Congress candidate Suram Singh in Khour block of Akhnoor, Satish Sharma claimed that there has been no development in J&K in the last six years of BJP rule.
“BJP only made false promises to the people and enjoyed power,” he maintained adding that all the development work that have been done in Khour area was done by the former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand of Congress.
Seeking votes for party candidate, Sharma said that Suram Singh is a good, honest and hard working educated person whom all should vote.
Several Panchs and Sarpanchs of the area were also present on this occasion.
