Panthers Party holds election campaign in Kerian-Gandial

KATHUA, Dec 14: The Panthers Party organized an active campaign in DDC constituency Kerian-Gandial in Kathua district, in support of Party’s woman candidate Bhawna Gupta.
Addressing the election rally, Prof Bhim Singh, chief patron of J&K National Panthers Party appealed the voters to vote for the Panthers Party and support the neglected area which is cut off from Kathua district by river Ravi.
“It was Panthers Party which fought a big political battle forcing the Government of India to put up a bridge connecting this cut off area in Punjab side with Kathua district,” he said and welcomed several prominent persons, youth, women into the party fold.
On the occasion, many office bearers of the Young Panthers, Panthers Students’ Union, Women Wing and Trade Union were appointed and a movement was raised to go for election.
The party candidate, Bhawna Gupta made a strong appeal to the residents to support and vote her assuring that she will do her best to serve the people particularly in this area which has remained neglected.
Several other leaders including general secretary Anita Thakur and district president Kathua Robin Sharma addressed the gathering and appealed the voters for their full support and vote for Panthers Party candidate.
Later, Prof Bhim Singh and other senior leaders also addressed a public meeting at Mannu which falls close to Basohli tehsil headquarter. The meeting of the farmers in Mannu was also addressed by Anita Thakur, Ajay Singh (State secretary-JKNPP), Neeraj Dewan (general secretary-PTU, J&K), Ammanullah (local Gujjar leader) and others.
