JAMMU, May 7: Jammu and Kashmir Chemists and Druggists Association has extended its active support to the call for nationwide bandh on May 10 by All India Organization of Chemists and Druggists.
The call for bandh has been given against the Government policies and their impact on fraternity of medicine dealers engaged in its distribution.
Under the proposed agitation programme, all the 7.5 lakh chemists across the country will observe one-day bandh and hold protests at State and district level.
The AIOCD is demanding solution of Pharmacist related issues, relief in Drug Act Amendment 2008, no FDI in Pharma trade and no reduction in trade margin as proposed in new Drug Policy.
