JAMMU, Dec 17: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha Jammu-Poonch along with former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga and senior leaders of BJP visited village Dyani in district Samba and addressed booth level party workers meet at DDC territorial Samba constituency.
Jugal Kishore addressing booth level party workers and gathering present on the occasion said that Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed major development after the formation of BJP led Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in 2014 which was not done since last 70 years. He said that it is only due to BJP Government at Centre that major projects are funded and executed in Samba whether it is construction of AIIMS at Vijaypur, sanction of Degree Colleges, road connectivity under CRF, PMGSY like Amba -Mansar road ,Samba-Sumb-Goran road, Purmandal-Utterbehni road and also under Tourism like development of Mansar lake and tourism corridor for Purmandal and Utterbehni, Gupt Ganga rejuvenation.
The development of common people of Jammu Kashmir was ignored by previous Governments led by NC, Congress and PDP, he added.
Jugal Kishore, while taking a strong note on NC, Congress & PDP said that these aristocratic, self interested, dynastic Gupkaris never deliver democracy to the common people of Jammu and Kashmir and with the result these Panchayats, BDC and DDC elections were not held in Jammu and Kashmir for seven decades. He blamed NC, Congress, PDP as dictators who killed the empowerment of common people of Jammu and Kashmir residing in rural areas.
Chander Prakash Ganga, former Minister while addressing the gathering said that these DDC elections are very important as these elections are being held first time in Jammu and Kashmir and three tier system of Panchayati Raj will be fully strengthened after these elections. These elected DDC members will play a great role in rural development and every person living in rural area will get his share of development. He appealed masses to vote for BJP DDC candidates in majority to make them win.
DDC candidate Samba Ramesh Kumar, district president, Samba BJP Amar Singh, and other senior leaders of party were also present on the occasion.
