JAMMU, Dec 17: Moving ahead with its drive to take action against the vehicles with modified silencers, Traffic Police Jammu City seized 11 vehicles.
As per police sources, a team from Traffic Police Jammu City led by DTI Narwal Ashwani, DTI Kunjwani Ashish and DTI Satwari Vikas Parihar seized 11 motorcycles having modified silencers.
The seizure was made under the supervision of DySP Sunil Singh, Additional SP Pardeep Gauria and SSP Traffic Jammu City Shiv Kumar Sharma.
SSP Traffic Jammu City Shiv Kumar Sharma has appealed to the general public to take care of their fellow citizens especially women and seniors citizens.
“Rash driving and heavy noise by modified silencers effect the health of persons especially senior citizens”, he said.
“Let’s make Jammu noise free city by being a responsible citizen”, he added.
