JAMMU, Dec 17: A septuagenarian was found dead at his residence in Jawahar Nagar area of Satwari under mysterious circumstances.
As per police sources, a man identified as retd Army personnel Ranjeet Singh (75), son of Dhanvanter Singh was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in Jawahar Nagar area of Satwari.
The deceased was originally resident of District Kathua and was living at his another residence in Jawahar Nagar area of Satwari from the past 15 to 20 years.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to mortuary of GMCH Jammu for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
Inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Satwari Police.
