JAMMU : Security forces on Friday launched a search operation in Kud area along Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur district.
“Based on specific inputs regarding suspicious movement, joint teams of the army, police and the CRPF, on Friday morning launched search operations in Kud-Nathtop area of district Udhampur,” a police official here said.
He said that some locals informed them about suspicious movement in the area following which, the search operation was carried out.
“Searches were still in progress while the internet services have been shut down in the region as a precautionary measure,” he said. (AGENCIES)
