JAMMU, Dec 18: A truck conductor was killed after hit by accident near Panchayat Ghar Malik Market, here.
As per police sources, a truck conductor identified as Jahangir, son of Mohammad Ismail, a resident of Shopian was seriously injured after hit by a car near Panchayat Ghar Malik Market.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of GMCH Jammu for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
Bhatindi Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
