The functioning of Super Speciality hospital in Jammu after inordinate delay is a welcome move. It will one expect, improve the medicare facilities in the State. Due to heavy rush, the patients in the GMC had been complaining of improper treatment. At times, the patients had to move outside the State to seek medical assistance which entailed not only mental agony but also money which in most of the cases were not able to bear. The people of this region expect that the institution live up to the expectations and provide medicare of highest order at affordable prices.
These institutions need to be maintained properly in every respect staff security and service. The quality of medicare should be of such nature that patients will not have to move outside the State.
