JAMMU, Dec 19: There will be 100 percent OPD services in Government Medical College & Associated Hospitals (GMC&AH) Jammu from January 4, 2021.
This was decided and ordered today by Principal GMC Jammu, Dr Shashi Sudhan Sharma after review of the health services in the Medical College and its Associated Hospitals.
“It is hereby ordered that 100 % OPD services shall be made available to the patients from January 4, 2021 subject to compulsory wearing of masks and adherence to social distancing and hand hygiene norms,” said an order issued by Principal GMC Jammu.
Pertinent to mention here that OPD services in the GMC&AH were suspended from March 25 following breakout of COVID-19 pandemic and were resumed from May 12 with a cap of 20 appointments per Speciality, which were further increased to 30 appointments per Speciality on May 23.
