JAMMU, Dec 19: The protesting 45 PM package candidates have warned the Government to settle their demand by issuing the recruitment orders in their favour by December 25 failing which the entire displaced Pandit community will come to streets.
The protesting candidates who held a demonstration at Exhibition Ground near Press club here, today criticized the Government for its total callousness towards them.

Meanwhile, NC Minority Cell president, M K Yogi along with his party activists also joined the dharna today and extended full support to their demands. Yogi, showed his solidarity with protesting candidates and demanded immediate fulfillment of their genuine issues who are protesting for more than 80 days continuously. Yogi, who also took up the issue with Advisor to Lt Governor, Bashir Khan, has been assured that the demand of these 45 youth will be looked into by him up to December 25 and problem will be solved genuinely. However, Yogi while participating in the protest disclosed that if the problem is not solved up to December 25 or till completion of DDC elections whichever may be earlier, the whole of the KP migrant community will come on road in support of the protesting 45candidates for which a wide circulated support has been offered by all community people.
Yogi warned that the Government will be responsible for the consequences which may arise after December 25 as these 45 meritorious candidates have met injustice for last one decade.
He said it is a pity that the candidates having less percentage of marks and points in the interview have been selected while the appointment orders in favour of these 45 hapless candidates have not been issued among whom majority have now even become over-aged.
