2 Punjab residents arrested with heroin

JAMMU, Dec 21: Nagrota Police arrested two persons hailing from Punjab along with heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shokat laid a naka near Ban Toll Plaza and intercepted a car bearing registration number JK01Q-6707.
During checking, police team recovered 116 grams heroin from the possession of two persons travelling in the car and arrested them.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Sadeeq, son of Akbar Khan and Rupinder Pal Singh, son of Sukhminder Singh, both residents of Punjab.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
