MBA Induction Programme begins at JU Business School

JAMMU, Dec 21: The Business School, University of Jammu, today started one week online Induction Programme for its 35th batch of MBA.
JU Vice Chancellor, Prof Manoj K Dhar was chief guest on the occasion while Dean Academics Affair, Prof Naresh Padha presided over the function. Rakesh Shalla, a well known Corporate consultant was the keynote speaker.
Prof Manoj K Dhar congratulated the fresh batch of students for getting admission into The Business School for the prestigious MBA program and highlighted achievements of University of Jammu in general and TBS in particular. He also impressed that during these two years of MBA program, the students should make maximum use of opportunities and facilities available at University.
In his address, Prof Naresh Padha exhorted the students to be sincere in their studies and be dedicated for their future career. He further stressed that The Business School shall leave no stone unturned for raising the academic standard and career of the students.
Rakesh Shalla, keynote speaker for the inaugural session, gave corporate insights to the students through question-answer interactive sessions.
The week long induction programme shall include industry experts, leading academicians and successful entrepreneurs. The program shall have two sessions daily consisting of one morning session and one afternoon session. During the induction programme, students shall be introduced to the various central facilities available with the university including Department of Student welfare, Campus culture, Department of Physical Education, Central library and hostels.
At the end, Prof Sameer Gupta, Director, The Business School University of Jammu gave concluding remarks of the event and presented a formal vote of thanks. The event was coordinated by Dr Amisha Gupta, Senior Assistant professor, The Business School. The inaugural session was attended by all the faculty members and students of The Business School, JU.
