KATHUA, Dec 21: A youth with 80 percent burn injuries from Surjan village in Bani area of Kathua district was admitted in Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu last night is battling with his life as his condition is stated to be critical.
He has been identified as Guptraj, 38, son of Kasnu Raj of Village Surjan in Bani. Police said that he caught fire accidently and received 80 percent burn injuries. He was immediately shifted by family to GMC Jammu where he is battling for his life. The Bani police has sent a team for investigation in the matter to the village and as per preliminary reports, the burn injuries were received by the youth accidently. He has been admitted in GMC vide MLC Number 6080.
