JAMMU, Dec 21: Term of the incumbent Managing Committee of Jammu Club has been extended till April 2021.
Decision in this regard was taken during an extra ordinary general meeting of Jammu Club in the club premises, here yesterday, under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, who is vice-president of the club.
Along with the other valuable suggestions for the smooth running of the Club, the House unanimously decided to extend the term of the incumbent Managing Committee till April, 2021 thereafter followed by elections for the new Committee as per the provisions laid in the Club Constitution.
The Honorary Secret-ary, R D Anand presented welcome address and the meeting was attended by members of the Club amid all SOPs in place for the safety and well being of the participating members.
The members appreciated the services and efforts of the club staff / security staff that rendered their services even during lockdown. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Advocate Sanjay Kakkar.
