Pak shelling in Poonch

JAMMU, Dec 21: Pakistani troops violated ceasefire today by resorting to heavy firing and mortar shelling in forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district.
The Indian Army retaliated befittingly, they said.
“At about 1940 hours (7.40 pm) today, Pak army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and intense shelling with mortars along the LoC in Balakote sector in district Poonch,” Defence spokesperson said.
No casualties or damage was reported on the Indian side.
