Police officer saves truck conductor’s life by giving CPR

RAMBAN, Dec 23: Police officer saved life of a truck conductor by giving Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
As per police sources, Incharge Police Post Jawahar Tunnel SI Wasim Mehraj saved life of a man, who suffered cardiac arrest while travelling from Srinagar to Jammu in Tethar area of Banihal.
The man, who is a truck conductor by profession, went to Tethar market in Banihal to buy some eatables and suddenly fell down on the ground due to cardiac arrest.
SI Wasim who was present there on duty immediately swung into action and showed act of bravery by immediately giving Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the patient and saved his life.
The man after gaining conscious was shifted to Banihal hospital and his condition is stated to be stable.
The locals and the doctors present on duty lauded the action of SI Wasim Mehraj in saving a precious human life.
