JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Dec 23: Three Corona casualties were today reported in the Union Territory including two in Kashmir and one in Jammu while 250 persons tested positive for the virus and 338 others recovered.
A 70-year-old woman from Mallpur in Akhnoor area of Jammu district died of co-morbidities and COVID-19 in the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
In Kashmir, a 76-year-old man from Gulgam in Kupwara district and 55-year-old from Sumbal in Bandipora district died of COVID.
Among 135 positive cases in Jammu, 98 were reported from Jammu district and 10 in Rajouri while out of 139, who recovered from the virus, 89 belonged to Jammu and 16 to Udhampur district.
Jammu region now has 490003 Corona cases including 1799 active positives while 46522 have recovered from the virus and there have been 682 Corona casualties.
The Union Territory of Ladakh today reported 13 positive cases-11 in Leh and two in Kargil.
Srinagar district with 443 deaths topped the list of Corona deaths in Kashmir followed by Baramulla 170, Budgam 106, Kupwara 90, Pulwama 88, Anantnag 82, Bandipora 59, Kulgam 53, Ganderbal 43 and Shopian 37.
In Kashmir, 115 people tested positive.
Srinagar reported 49 cases, Baramulla 14, Budgam 17, Kupwara 7, Pulwama 13, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 6, Kulgam 2 and Shopian 3.
