JAMMU, Dec 24: Principal Sessions Judge Udhampur Mohan Lal Manhas has rejected the bail application of Yawar Ahmed of Kulgam, Tariq Ahmed of Anantnag , Nariender Singh of Sukhi Karlai Udhampur and Anand Kishore of Jaganoo, who was booked under NDPS Act after being arrested with psychotropic substances .
After hearing Public Prosecutor Inderjeet Sharma , Principal Sessions Judge observed, “in this case charge sheet has already presented in the court and some witnesses had been recorded and if accused were admitted to bail at this stage, there is every apprehension that they may flee from the law and definitely win over the prosecution witnesses”.
Accordingly, court rejected the bail applications.
