Birth Anniversary of late PM Vajpayee celebrated with vigour

JAMMU, Dec 25: The Birth Anniversary of late Prime Minister and BJP stalwart Atal Bihari Vajpayee was celebrated today across Jammu and Kashmir.

On the occasion, BJP organized ‘Good Governance Day’ programmes in 128 Mandals across the UT, wherein the party senior leaders led the party activists in remembering Atal ji and his splendid contribution in progress and prosperity of the country.
Later, they joined their party colleagues to listen and watch live telecast of the address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, related to transfer of new installment of Rs 18000 crore in the bank account of 9 crore farmers under ‘PM Kissan Samman Nidhi’.
At Party office in Jammu, Party president Ravinder Raina along with former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta and former MLA R S Pathania, paid tributes to the tallest and revered leader of BJP. While paying tributes to Atal Bihari Vajpayes, Ravinder Raina, said that this great leader always worked for Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat and national interests were on his top priorities.
Ashok Koul, in his floral tributes, described Atal ji as an institution in himself, who inspired the nationalist people to treat nation as first and self at last. At RS Pura, Ravinder Raina, along with BJP vice president Anuradha Charak, Kissan Morcha president Omi Khajuria and former MLC Ramesh Arora, remembered Atal ji.
Union MoS Dr Jitendra Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, vice president Yudhvir Sethi, party leaders Vijay Sharma and Rashpal Verma paid tributes to Atal ji in different Mandals of Kathua district.
MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP Shamsher Singh Manhas and others took part in programmes in Akhnoor district. Party general secretary (organisation) Ashok Koul, general secretary Dr Davinder Manyal, former Minister Chander Prakash Ganga, Mahila Morcha president Sanjita Dogra, paid tributes in programmes organized in Samba district.
Party general secretary Sunil Sharma participated in similar programmes in Kishtwar. Former Minister Sat Sharma and Munish Sharma led party activists in Jammu West programme to pay tributes while former Minister Ajay Nanda and Kuldeep Raj Dubey in Reasi, Pardeep Sharma and Sunil Gupta in Poonch and Vikram Randhawa chaired similar programmes in Jammu district.
Twenty programmes in Basohli, 14 in Nowshera-Sunderbani district, nine each in Ramban and Udhampur, five programmes each in R S Pura and Kathua districts, eight programmes each in Akhnoor, Kishtwar and Doda districts, ten in Samba, eleven in Rajouri, seven in Jammu Rural, six in Reasi district, three programmes in Kashmir Displaced district and Jammu district, one each in Jammu West and Poonch districts were organized to celebrate the day.
Celebrating Good Governance Day on the birthday of Vajpayee, BJP East Mandal organized a programme here today which was attended by senior party leaders. While addressing the gathering, former Minister and Senior BJP leader Priya Sehti threw light on the life history of Atal Ji and enlightened gathering about his glorious achievements as Prime Minister. Among others Deputy Mayor JMC Purnima Sharma was present on the occasion.
To celebrate the occasion, a programme was organized by J&K BJP publicity secretary and RS Pura district in charge Ayodhya Gupta at ward number 30, Talab Tillo (Jammu). While speaking after paying tributes to Vajpayee, Sat Sharma said that by his conduct Atal ji had setup an example for others to follow.
Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta paid tributes to Vajpayee in the Winter capital Jammu. Kavinder threw light on the life history and struggle of Atal Ji. He termed the life of Atal Ji as exemplary and said that we can learn many things from a single chapter of his life.
Remembering Vajpayee on his birthday, BJP Mahila Morcha led by its State president Sanjita Dogra gave tributes to the leader and organized massive programmes celebrated as “Seva Saptah” at district and booth levels across the UT. Ex-MoS Priya Sethi also addressed the gathering.
Secretary J&K BJP Rekha Mahajan paid floral tributes to BJP stalwart Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Nagrota Mandal and Panchayat Bajalata of district Jammu Rural. Nagrota Mandal president Ajay Sharma, district secretary and Incharge Nagrota Mandal Sanjay Bakshi, Mahila Morcha State IT and social media incharge Poonam Gupta, Jammu district general secretary Divya Jain, Mahila Morcha Mandal president Renu Sharma and Yograj Bali were also present on the occasion.
BJP OBC Morcha celebrated birthday Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Good Governance Day across Jammu and Kashmir. In this connection, a series of social programs were organized in different districts of Jammu under the leadership of Braham Jyot Satti (president BJP OBC Morcha). The programmes were started from Bal Grah (Channi Himmat) where all Morcha leaders paid floral tributes to Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Corporator Sahil Gupta from Municipal Committee Bishnah along with Ex MLC Ramesh Arora today paid tribute to the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birthday at KC Morh Chowk, Bishnah. Panch Sabu Takar, Naib Sarpanch Sunil Choudhary, Panch Joginder Lal from Kheri, Sanju Sharma, Harbans Lal, Tushar Digra, Satish, Rajesh, Ratan Lal, Rakesh Sharma and others were present in the program.
Bhartiya Atal Sena Rashtarwadi (BASR) J&K today celebrated birthday of Atal Bihari Vajpayee as well as its foundation day at Bal Ashram (Niketan) Ved Mandir, Amphalla by performing Yagya and Havan along with children of the Bal Niketan. The organization distributed fruits, Halwa Prasad and biscuits among children.
On the birth anniversary of Vajpayee which is also celebrated as “Good Governance Day “, founder and president of Nat Manch, BJP Youth Wing leader, actor and director Tarun Sharma distributed cards among Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries.
BJP’s Kashmir unit leaders paid rich tributes to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 96th birth anniversary and stated that his slogan of Kashmiryat, Jamhuriyat and Insaniyat has boosted the Good Governance signs in the Union Territory. Addressing the party office in Srinagar, the senior leaders of BJP termed him as the ambassador of peace and prosperity for the country. Party’s Kashmir Media Incharge and leader Manzoor Bhat recalled the former PM’s contribution towards Kashmir.
