Jugal slams Congress for misleading farmers

JAMMU, Dec 25: With formation of Government in the year 2014 BJP is working hard to fulfill the dream for doubling the income of farmers and bold steps were taken for their betterment by launching various schemes.
This was stated today by Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP and senior BJP leader during a Kissan Sammelan at village Chak Malal in Khour.
The MP paid tributes to Former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary and held interaction with farmers present on the occasion.
He said that only BJP under the leadership of PM Modi is committed for the betterment of farmers.
The BJP leader slammed Congress for misleading farmers for political vendetta and said that opposition has ruled over the nation for seven decades but never did anything for the betterment of farmers.
He claimed that those rejected by electorates are now indulging in event management for their publicity.
“Farm reforms are need of the hour because poor farmers who are over 80 per cent of the population of our country were getting poorer during the misrules of earlier Governments led by Congress at the Center,” he maintained adding that Congress always used farmers as vote bank.
“New Farm Laws have been implemented for the betterment of farmers but opposition is misleading them by false propaganda,” Sharma said appealing farmers to not to fall prey in political tactics of vested interests.
Farmers present at the occasion paid gratitude to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for releasing second installment of PM Kissan Samman Nidhi.
