JAMMU, Dec 28: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee has appealed the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to enhance cash relief assistance to migrants as due to high prices of essential commodities, the migrant families are unable to fulfill their basic needs on limited amount of Rs 13000.
The issue was highlighted during a meeting of the committee held today under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina, president of the committee. The committee members also demanded to release the pending list of previous PM Package posts.
The speakers also highlighted XEn PDD of Division 3rd for separating the R2 feeder as there is already load of enough transformers on it due to which it always gets fault. The XEn was also urged to install cable in Kalashpati Lane in Durga Nagar and Sector 3 Lane and install a separate transformer there to balance the load.
