JKTF highlights demands, issues of teaching community

JAMMU, Dec 29: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held today under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, State Chairman, JKTF for a threadbare discussion on the burning issues and the long pending demands of the different cadres of the teaching community.
In the meeting it was impressed upon the higher authorities to conduct the DPC of class IV to Lab Asstt and Lib Asstt., Lab Asstt to Teacher, Teacher to Master, Master to Headmaster and lecturer in all streams. The meeting also urged upon the Administrative Secretary School Education Deptt for the regularisation of I/C Headmasters, Lecturers, Principals and other higher cadres and filling up of vacant posts of Headmasters, Principals and ZEOs.
The meet also demanded removal of Pay anomalies, repatriation of Masters and Lecturers to their home districts, creation of posts of Masters working under SSA, regularisation of Contingent Paid Workers, change of nomenclature of Class IV employees, regularisation of Data Entry Operators, conversion of NPS to OPS Scheme and regularisation of pending RETs
