JAMMU, Dec 29: A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with ceiling fan hook at his home in Udheywala, here.
As per police sources, a 24-year-old man identified as Amit Kumar of Udheywala was found hanging with ceiling fan hook at his home.
He was rushed to GMCH Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Domana Police in this regard.
