JAMMU, Dec 29: Activists of Mission Statehood and Jammu West Assembly Movement today held a protest on Janipur-High Court Road demanding Statehood for J&K.
The protesting activists burnt the copies of land laws, domicile certificates and copies of the calendars of 2021 for no holiday on Maharaja Hari Singh’s birth anniversary.
Addressing the protesting activists, Sunil Dimple said it is very unfortunate that PM Narendra Modi in his address to people of J&K welcomed the demotion of J&K State into Union Territory and said that the people of the Union Territory have highly benefited and the first ever DCC election took place.
Dimple said the mandate of the people in DDC election is for restoration of Statehood, special status and for the withdrawal of the domicile and land laws. He said they are ready to sacrifice their lives for the restoration of lost glory of the Dogra State which BJP destroyed to fulfill its political agenda.
