JAMMU, Dec 30: On the directions of ADGP Traffic (J&K) T Namgyal, SSP Traffic City Jammu Shiv Kumar Sharma directed all Supervisory Officers to check the smooth regulations of traffic in area of your responsibilities ahead of New Year celebrations.
After the directions from higher ups, today various joint traffic nakas were established by Traffic Police along with District Police Jammu under the supervisions of ASP Traffic City Pardeep Singh Gouria.
In South City Jammu, during joint traffic checking led by DySP Traffic City South Sunil Singh along with SHO Trikuta Nagar Inspector Deepak Pathania and DTI Railways Ashish Khajuria, many vehicles were seized and challaned for visible offences like motorcycle with modified silencers, without wearing seat belt and without crash helmet.
In North City Jammu, a joint traffic checking was established by DySP Traffic City North Shivali Kotwal along with SHO Police Station Pacca Danga Inspector Ajit Singh and DTI Old City Inspector Surjeet Kumar at Rotary Chowk Jammu to check the smooth regulations of traffic.
Similarly DySP City Rural Neeraj Padyar along with DTI Nagrota Inspector Rakesh Kumar conducted checking of two-wheelers and mini buses at Nagrota and penalized number of vehicles in visible offences.
The drive was launched under the overall supervisions of SSP Traffic Shiv Kumar Sharma, which was closely monitored by ADGP Traffic J&K T Namgyal.
