JAMMU, Dec 30: J&K Electrical Engineering Graduates Association (JKEEGA) today appealed the Lt Governor’s administration to revoke suspension of Chief Engineer J&K Power Corporation Limited Mohd Yousuf Baba.
Expressing its resentment against the suspension of Chief Engineer (CE), JKEEGA president Munshi Majid Ali said that the officer was never posted in Electric Division Sumbal on full-fledged basis and was given additional charge only for a short period of two months.
He regretted that no opportunity was provided to the officer for presenting his side before issuing the suspension order. Ali said Mohd Yousuf Baba is one of the most honest and upfront engineers of the fraternity. “He is a victim of circumstances. Such type of unilateral action is not only illegal but also injustice to the officer who has unblemished service record of more than three decades,” he added.
The JKEEGA president requested the LG administration to revoke forthwith the suspension of the officer and complete the enquiry ordered at an earliest.
