JAMMU, Jan 1: Police today arrested an Over Ground Worker (OGW) of the militants and recovered arms and explosive devices from his possession in Mahore tehsil of Reasi district.
The OGW has been identified as Mohammad Yousaf, 20, son of Ghulam Haider, a resident of village Deval in Mahore tehsil of Reasi district.
From his possession, police and Army recovered five live grenades and one 9 mm pistol along with ammunition which he had kept in a hideout.
A case against him has been registered under Sections 15, 16, 18, 18b ULA, 7, 27 Arms Act,120-B, 121 and 121a IPC at Mahore police station for further investigations.
During past few days, police and Army have busted various terror modules in the Jammu region including Jammu and Poonch districts and recovered large quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives from their possession.
