JAMMU, May 11: A meeting of All Jammu and Kashmir Diploma Holders Association was held at UEED Complex Narwal wherein various issues, particularly ensuing central body elections, were discussed.
While addressing the meeting, the Association president Er R S Jasrotia asked the members to be ready for the Central body elections, which are going to be held soon for bringing broader unity among the Diploma Engineers fraternity so that their demands could be highlighted before the Government more effectively.
Vice-president V K Trikha briefed the members about the position of cadre strength system at various levels from Junior Engineer to Executive Engineer posts and discussed strategy on how to achieve the shortfall thereupon.
Those who participated in the discussion, included Er Sunil Sharma, Er Sardari Lal Raina, Er S C Kerni, Er Deepak Sharma, Er Ajay Pandow and others.
The meet pledged full support to the Diploma Engineers Association with a voice vote for participation in the central body elections.
