Educational institutions celebrate Mother’s Day

JAMMU, May 11: Various educational institutions across Jammu province celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm and zeal.
Mother’s Day was celebrated in GD Goenka Public School with pomp and show. Students from all the classes prepared gifts for their mothers. Students also wrote essays on the role of mothers in their lives and also spoke extensively on the importance of mothers in one’s life. Principal Jyoti Asija urged the students to respect their mothers.
Model Academy and Humming Buds celebrated Mother’s Day. Dr Adit Gupta, Joint Director, MIER was the chief guest, while Rupa Gupta, Principal, Model Academy, faculty and staff members were also present. Students presented colourful cultural programme. Dr Renu Gupta, Director, MIER threw light on the importance of the day.
Jodhamal Public School celebrated Mother’s Day. On the occasion, Rajni Sahu was the chief guest, while Leela Bist was the guest of honour. Students presented cultural items depicting love for their mothers.
RM Public School celebrated Mother’s Day with zeal and zest. Students presented cultural items, followed by speeches on the importance of the day. Coordinator pre-primary wing Puja Padwal, Coordinator primary wing Meenakshi Pathania, Principal Ravinder Kour and Chairman Rameshwar Mengi expressed their views.
Lawrence Public School celebrated Mothers Day. Shakuntla Joshi, Founder Principal of the school was the chief guest. Students presented cultural programme dedicated to their mothers.
Apple Kids International Pre-Schools, Bantalab celebrated Mother’s Day with pomp and show. Students participated in many activities including card making, flower vase making and cards making.
Shemrock International School celebrated Mother’s Day. On the occasion, mothers were invited to speak on the topic “Save the Girl Child”. Some games were also organised for the mothers, followed by salad making competition.
Mother’s Pride and Joy Pre-School celebrated Mother’s Day. Mothers sang songs and also participated in various competitions including caption contest, one minute game and best dish maker. Beauty tips were given by Jyoti Bhan. Later prizes were awarded to the winning mothers.
Kidzee celebrated Mother’s Day in its Talab Tillo branch. On the occasion, students presented cultural items. Santosh Mahajan, Chairperson, Kidzee, Parneesh Mahajan, Managing Director, Shivani Gupta, coordinator, Dr Suman Thussu, Child Psychologist threw light in the importance of the day.
Mother’s Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and zeal by the tiny tots of JK Little Millennium School, Talab Tillo. On the occasion, mothers participated in “World’s Best Mom” and “Message Writing” contests.
Apexcel Indo British Kids celebrated Mother’s Day. On the occasion, students presented various programmes, followed by innovative games for mothers.
DRS Kids, Talab Tillo organised a talent show to celebrate Mother’s Day. On the occasion, mother’s participated in flower arrangements, rangoli, cake decoration and singing competition. Prizes were given by the Director Harmeet Kaur.
