SRINAGAR, May 11: Provincial president of National Conference Nasir Aslam Wani today said that PDP has always neglected South Kashmir despite the fact that party has won maximum number of seats from this area.
Speaking in a meeting of workers at party headquarters here today Mr Wani said that PDP leadership has only shown false dreams to the people of south Kashmir and never represented them in real form. He said that PDP got maximum number of seats from south Kashmir but they never actually raised their voice neither in the Assembly or in the District Development Board meetings.
“The people taught them a lesson in the Panchayat elections for their anti-people approach and the day is not far when they will be routed in the in the whole of Kashmir”, Mr Wani maintained.
Praising the party workers for their unflinching support to the leadership Nasir said that under the young and dyanamic leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah a new energy has been infused in the rank and file of the NC cadre. They are working selflessly for the party.
Meanwhile, the Provincial president along with a team of office bearers visited the house of slain Assistant Sub Inspector Farooq Ahmed and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
