Construct flyovers in city on priority: NPP

Excelsior Correspondent

JAMMU, May 11: Chairman J&K National Panthers Party, Harshdev Singh (MLA) today said that Government should construct flyovers on priority to decongest the city of temples.
In a press statement issued here today the NPP leader strongly flayed the Government for its failure to ensure traffic management in Jammu city resulting in great inconvenience to the general public. He regretted that repeated announcements and the tall slogans given by the Government to decongest the city by effective regulation of traffic and provision of flyovers in the city have fallen flat with no action having been initiated by the Government to tackle the ever growing menace. It is unfortunate that with the Darbar move, the traffic cops have also vanished from the city crossings to regulate the traffic. There seems to be no control at all of the higher officials and they sit at the places of their ‘conveniences’, without bothering for their prime job.
