SAMBA, Jan 3: An accident victim succumbed to her injuries in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Kanta Devi (80), wife of late Bhuri Singh, a resident of Chan Khatrian Hiranagar District Kathua. She was injured in collision between motorcycle and car at Samba on December 29 last year and since then was admitted in GMCH Jammu.
After conducting autopsy at GMCH Jammu, the body has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation initiated.
