UDHAMPUR, Jan 7: Udhampur Police today recovered a stolen motorcycle and arrested the thief.
The motorcycle, bearing Registration Number JK14D-3203, owned by Mohinder Kumar, son of Shiv Ram of Rount, Udhampur, was stolen from Ramnagar Chowk near Paridhan Kendra. On the basis of a complaint in this regard, a case FIR No. 10/2021 U/S 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Udhampur.
During the course of investigation, police party of PS Udhampur, headed by SHO Vijay Singh Choudhary, zeroed in some suspects and on their disclosure, the stolen motorcycle was recovered from Omara Morh area.
The accused person, namely Pinka Kumar, son of Bhagmal of Pathi Pangara Udhampur, was also arrested.
