JAMMU, Jan 7: Councillor of Ward 36 of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Subash Sharma today started the work of repairing and laying tiles in lane-5 of Lakkar Mandi area in Janipur.
The Councillor also started the work of drains in the area wherein the drains will be covered.
In a handout the Councillor stated that he took the demand of locals for mini stadium in the Ward with Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor for which directions have been passed for survey.
He further said that there is five kanal vacant land in the Ward on which multistory parking can be made.
Joginder Sharma, Ashok Khar, Ramesh Gupta, Suraj Sharma besides officials and officers of JMC were also present on the occasion.
