NEW DELHI, Jan 8: Senior vice president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kupwara, district, Shamim Bano ( Shanno) along with  Mohammad Rafiq, Ali, Mohammad, Afzal and Raju Chandel met Union Minister, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi at his residence here, today.
The BJP delegation shared problem of Jammu in Kashmir which included issues of unemployed youth of the UT with the Minister.
They also informed that due tremendous snowfall in the Kashmir Valley people are facing many hardships and Government should make arrangements for its clearance. Moreover, people living in the hilly areas are facing shortage of food items etc as the normal life in Jammu and Kashmir came to a standstill due to snowfall.
Government should arrange for employment of unemployed youth so that unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir can be contained.
Raju Chandel supported the demand of the BJP leaders and urged the Union Minister that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir be provided maximum employment opportunities.
It is very important to provide employment to the youth of the UT. Stating unemployment of youth of the J&K has taken an alarming situation, he said Congress, PDP and National Conference (NC) Governments have cheated the unemployed youth during their term.
Unhappy with this, the unemployed youth chose the path of terrorism but today the people of Jammu and Kashmir hope that they will get employment as soon as possible as Modi Government at Centre is committed to welfare of the people of the UT so that terrorism will be curbed.
