UDHAMPUR, May 13: Two persons died in separate road accidents here during the last 24 hours.
A pedestrian was knocked to death by a car near Khagote, Ramnagar. The deceased, identified as Munshi Ram, son of Ronku of Kagote, was hit by a Maruti car bearing registration number JK 02J -7447 while walking on the road side near Khagote. He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, late last night.
A youth died due to fall from roof of a moving bus near Panjar Udhampur. Identity of the deceased was established as Parkash Singh (22) son of Prem Singh of Panjar, who was sitting on roof of the bus bearing registration number JK 02F-2675, which was on way from Udhampur to Panjar.
A pedestrian was injured after a vehicle hit him at Dhar Road, Udhampur. The injured, identified as Mulkh Raj son of Dhani Ram of Dhar Road, was shifted to hospital and his condition was stated to be stable.
