Candidates protest against non-release of select list

SRINAGAR, May 13: Candidates who had applied for the post of jail warden in 2005 and then qualified outdoor physical test in 2010, for 73 posted then advertised under notice number 539 of 2005-have expressed resentment over inordinate delay in its final release.
The protesting candidates said that even after waiting for last eight years for the final list some of the candidates have crossed the age bar. “We heard that department has planned to re-conduct outdoor tests, which we reject totally and if the department will do it, they will approach High Court,” the candidates said.
The candidates threatened to launch protests against the Government if their eight-year wait would not bear any fruit.
