JAMMU, Jan 14: Gangyal Police arrested two thieves along with stolen plywood worth Rs 50,000.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint regarding plywood theft was lodged at Police Station Gangyal by Nikhil Mittal, son of Parveen Mittal of Channi Himmat, District Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 3/2021 under Section 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Raghubir Singh arrested two thieves by using all possible means.
The arrested persons were identified as Vidya Sagar, son of Hans Raj of Bhaderwah, at present Digiana and Rahul Gupta, son of Kuldeep Raj of Channi, District Jammu.
On their disclosure, stolen plywood worth Rs 50,000 was recovered. Further investigation is going on to ascertain their involvement in any other case.
