JAMMU, Jan 16: Kanachak Police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh intercepted a man at Ghari road.
During checking, police team recovered 53 bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Kulvinder Singh, son of late Jaswant Singh, a resident of District Poonch, at present Ghari.
A case under FIR Number 7/2021 under Section 48 (A) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation initiated.
