JKGTF for rational implementation of transfer policy

KATHUA, Jan 17: Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum (JKGTF) today urged upon the Government to implement the transfer policy rationally.
The issue was discussed during a district body meeting of JKGTF held here under the president ship of its chairman Amar Nath Thakur and general secretary Parveen Singh.
All the participating teachers expressed their views on the transfer policy recently issued by Administrative Secretary School Education Department. Stating that most of the teaching staff is working in far flung areas and has not been transferred after completing their stay, they urged the administration to implement the transfer policy rationally and transfer those who have been serving in far flung areas since long.
Alleging that most of the offices and institutions are without heads in Kathua district, the speakers appealed Director School Education to fill these posts on priority, besides issuing promotion list of Master grade and DPC list of Head Assistants pending since long.
Amar Nath Thakur, chairman of the Forum appealed the district administration to engage other employees in COVID-19 duties and spare lecturers, masters and teachers as practicals are going on in schools and class work of Board classes have been suffering.
Zonal president of the Forum, Surjeet Singh, district president, Sirjit Singh, Tara Mani, Kali Dass, Rafiq Ahmed, Jaswant Singh, Harmohinder Singh, Naresh Singh, Davinder Singh, Jagdish Chander, Pawan Kumar, Ranjit Singh and many others spoke in the meeting.
