JAMMU, Jan 19: The enforcement staff of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) led by Chief Enforcement Officer today sealed commercial premises under the provisions of Section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988 for unauthorized constructions and violations.
A handout of JMC stated that the sealing operation was done on the instructions of JMC Commissioner, Avny Lavasa and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Adm).
The sealed premises included that of Pirinkle Mahajan son of Pawan Kumar at Bye Pass Road, Deeli, Jammu for erecting construction against the approved building plan.
The other sealed premise was that of Nikhal Mittal son of Parveen Mittal at Marble Market, Jammu for erecting the unauthorized construction without JMC permission.
JMC has appealed to the general public to refrain from making encroachments and unauthorized constructions otherwise action as admissible under rule leading to demolition or sealing will be taken.
