Restore, renovate Panjbakhtar temple: Magotra

JAMMU, Jan 20: Congress leader Varun Magotra has today demanded restoration of Panjbakhtar temple by the heritage department and renovation of the complex by the Tourism Department.
During a visit to Darugirian Mohalla, the Congress leader said that Panjbakhtar temple has great historic importance as Guru Nanak Dev Ji had also visited this religious place during his visit to northern Himalayan range.
He flayed the visit of 31 member Parliamentary committee that visited Kashmir today ignoring Jammu.
“Instead of visiting Jammu the members of Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society were called to Kashmir to discuss the restoration of the heritage complex of Mubarak Mandi,” Magotra said.
He flayed BJP for taking Jammu region for granted and demanded sanitation facilities at Darugirian Mohalla.
