JAMMU, May 26: A CRPF constable was killed while another sustained injuries when a truck in which they were traveling rolled down into a gorge near Nowgam Morh, Banihal here this morning.
Police spokesman said that a truck of 178 battalion of CRPF heading towards Srinagar from Jammu, rolled down near Nowgam Morh.
He said that the Head Constable Krishan Kumar, who was driving the truck, died instantly while another occupant Head Constable S Bhattacharya received injuries and was admitted to Sub District Hospital, Bahihal, where his condition was stated to be stable.
