JAMMU, Jan 22: Two persons were killed in accidents here today.
As per police sources, a driver was killed when the truck he was driving turned turtle on road near Nandini tunnel.
The deceased has been identified as Bashrat Hussain, son of Mohammad Haroon, a resident of Bye Pass Sitni Nagrota.
After conducting autopsy at GMCH Jammu, the body has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Meanwhile, a man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by a truck near Parmandal Morh.
The deceased has been identified as Raman Kumar, son of Tilak Raj of Pathankot, at present Bari Brahmana.
The body has been shifted to mortuary of GMCH Jammu for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Jhajjar Kotli and Gangyal and investigation started.
