Diploma Enggs for maintaining cadre strength at all levels

JAMMU, May 16: All Jammu and Kashmir Diploma Engineers’ Association, reiterated its resolve to fight for maintaining cadre strength and waging crusade against various others demands.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of its president R S Jasrotia and other office bearers expressed its resolve in response to a few queries raised by Kathua unit of the association held yesterday. The Kathua unit of the association had sought details about the functioning of the Central Body of the association till date vis-à-vis its achievements. They also informed that Central Body election would be held shortly and sought their participation with full dedication and support for brining broader unity among cadre.
The association intimated the general members of Kathua unit comprising all the engineering wings that Central Body of the association was committed to maintaining cadre strength at the time of promotions strictly as per prevailing rules and the recommendations made by establishment cum select committee for the posts of executive engineer and AEEs. It said that association would strive that left over JEs be promoted as per the case to case basis, keeping in view their meager left over service span, making adjustment of all AEs (Civil) engaged against available vacancies in the respective departments and who have been waiting for their adjustment for more than one and a half year as also declaring of stagnated Junior Engineers as JE-1 against their available sanctioned posts.
Other office bearers who spoke in the meeting included V K Trikha, vice president and Jugal Kishore, general secretary.
The office bearers of Kathua unit who had participated in the meeting Beyant Singh, Sunil Sharma, Givinder Singh, Pawan Gupta, Ravi Sharma, Kuldeep Singh etc.
