KATHUA, Jan 23: Kathua police has reunited a missing girl with her family within a week.
Police said on 16-01-2021, a missing report was lodged at PS Billawar by the one of the family member of the girl, stating that his daughter had gone missing from her home for which he wants to lodge a missing report in the Police Station. Whereas all efforts have been made by the family members but the whereabouts of the missing girl could not be ascertained.
Acting instantly on the missing report, vide DD No.05, the search was started using physical and technical aid by police team of PS Billawar to trace out the girl and after hectic efforts the girl was brought back safely by the team of concerned PS and was immediately handed over to her legal heirs after completing all legal formalities.
Family of the girl complimented the timely intervention and action of Kathua Police.
