UDHAMPUR, Jan 23: Police today arrested a bootleggers who was running illicit still and preparing hooch at his house in Tikri area.
Based on a specific information, a team of PP Tikri, led by Insp Jaswinder Singh (IC PP Tikri), conducted raid in the house of Diwan Chand son of Rukahayya of Jadsarkote, Tikri and recovered two litres of hooch. Police also recovered around 15 litres of lahan, which was destroyed on the spot.
In this regard, a case under relevant section of law has been registered at Police Station Rehambal.
