Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrim dies of cardiac arrest

KATRA, Jan 24: A Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrim from Punjab died because of sudden cardiac arrest at Ropeway Station Bhairon Temple, here today.
The deceased was identified as Vipan Kumar Singla (50), son of Som Nath Singla, resident of House No. 213, Street No. 5, New Patel Nagar, Nabha, Patiala, Punjab.
He suddenly fell unconscious at Ropeway Station Bhairon temple while on his way to the Bhawan. He was immediately shifted to dispensary Bhairon temple where the Medical Officer declared him as brought dead.
Later, the dead body was shifted to CHC Katra for completing all legal formalities and then it was handed over legal heirs for the deceased for last rites.
