JAMMU, May 17: Shiromani Akali Dal (National) has condemned the State Government for not helping the family of Chamil Singh of Jammu, who was killed in Pakistan jail two months back.
In a joint press statement issued here today, the SAD-N leaders Gurdev Singh and Dayal Singh Wazir strongly condemned the callous attitude of the State Government led by Omar Abdullah, which has not uttered a single word of sympathy for the poor family. They demanded that Chamil’s family be provided compensation and job to at least one member.
The Akali leaders also condemned the NC led Government for helping those who raised gun against the country and asking about their rehabilitation and ignoring those who really need assistance and care from the Government.
